The 2012 Ninja 650L’s Parallel Twin engine configuration was chosen as the best balance of good power characteristics and compact size.

Engine tuning delivered both a rider-friendly character ideal for new riders and performance to put a smile on the faces of more experienced riders. The engine’s compact size was one of the keys to realising the 2012 Ninja 650L’s slim package. 

The 2012 engine offers more low-mid range torque for more fun and greater usability in everyday riding situations, while maintaining the smooth, high-revving character of its predecessor.

Coming In 2012

While its muscular curvature is based on that of the Vulcan 1700 Voyager ABS, the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS is much more than a Voyager with the top-case removed; the Vaquero features a host of original-design components including engine shrouds, side covers, rear fender, mufflers….eben the side bag flaps are new. Further numerous blacked-out parts contribute to a hard, sporty image. Both bodywork and engine covers received meticulous attention to detail and exquisite craftmanship expected of all Kawasaki cruisers.

Further, the 2012 Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS is loaded with high-grade cruising essentials like Kawasaki’s advanced brake system K-ACT ABS, Electronic Cruise Control and a high-spec iPod compatible audio system.

2012 Ninja ZX-6R . . . Epitomizing Kawasaki’s racing philosophy!

The 2012 ZX-6R features noticeably light handling. The superb combination of mid-corner stability and ability to change lines on command is maintained from previous models, but frame rigidity is a standout on the 2012 model and mass greatly centralised to make the ZX-6R easy to tip into corners.

Designed for maximum on-track performance, the multi-disc wet clutch features a back-torque limiter to help reduce the rear-wheel hop that can occur when down-shifting at high rpm.
